Tire recycling can be divided into four main technologies: (1) Ambient; (2) Cryogenic; (3) Devulcanization and (4) Pyrolysis/Gasification.
- Ambient – a mechanical size reduction at room temperature
- Cryogenic - employs liquid nitrogen to freeze the materials prior to grinding
- Devulcanization – chemically breaks cross-linking bond between rubber molecules
- Pyrolysis - anaerobic combustion of the rubber producing carbon black and oils
Our semi-cryogenic technology is the only process that fully satisfied the markets demand, providing the cleanest methodology without using chemicals, to produce high quality rubber powders with minimal impact on the environment.
